Navigating Spaciness: Politics of Memory, Resistance and Healing in Rom*nja Communities
A Performance by Luna De Rosa at Tak Theater Berlin

“What does it mean to be Rom*nja?!”* stems from the urgency of restoring complexity and narrative autonomy to Rom*nja subjectivities, particularly women, too often reduced to silence or crystallized in static representations.

At the center of the performance manifests the figure of the more-than-human: a symbolic entity that inhabits the boundary between ancestral knowledge and speculative imagination, between historical trauma and vision of the future.

Through this presence, the performance challenges the logics of erasure and tokenism, claiming a space in which identity is not defined by imposed categories, but asserts itself as a living force, in constant transformation.
